Parent Involvement
We believe that one of the single most important
aspects in a child’s life is the involvement of
their parent or guardian. By being involved, you
give your child, the support they need to grow both
physically and mentally, the courage to explore the
unknown, and the inspiration to embark on a path of
individuality.
Babies 2 Books will establish a family involvement
group (FIG) where families of children at Babies 2
Books can get together (perhaps once every three
months) and discuss any issues important to you. We
will also use this group as a family resource hub,
with information on such things as recent recalls,
new products, and general information for families.
Our monthly newsletter, The FIG Tree, will have
center specific information as well as general
information for working families.
At Babies 2 Books we want to be one big happy family
so we have an open door policy. At any time you can
feel free to speak to any staff member about a
question, concern, compliment, complaint or if you
would like to volunteer your time or expertise to
the center. Parents are welcome to participate in
any of the parties and events that are held
throughout the year.
Parent Information
Babies 2 Books is not a religious organization, nor
are we affiliated with any religious organization.
We will however, celebrate many of the different
religious and cultural holidays in order to expose
the children to a variety of diverse traditions.
Babies 2 Books will hold conferences on an as needed
basis by either the teacher or the parent. We will
hold an Open House twice a year to allow the parents
and staff to get together and see the progress being
made. |
