To protect the children in our care, they must be signed in and out daily by their parent or guardian. We utilize a secure entry system that codes the children in and out as well as all visitors have to sign in and show required ID before entering the premises.

Children need to have physical activity
Children have an abundance of energy and need to release it in order to stimulate growth of the body and mind. Babies 2 Books will provide indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) play time daily.

We have a  variety of indoor large motor skill activities on a daily basis. Safe and appropriate shoes are needed all year. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. In the summer, a hat and sunscreen are necessary. Boots, hats, and gloves should be sent in the winter months. Snow pants and extra pants should also be brought to the center.  All children are expected to take part in outdoor activities unless instructed by a note from the child’s physician.

Children need intellectual stimulation
We believe that a child’s ability to learn is limitless. Therefore, we plan to enhance that ability by providing developmentally appropriate activities that are geared toward the child as an individual. We welcome and expect input from parents. We encourage feedback from parents on how they feel their child is doing. Milestones will be set for every child based on their individual development and amended as the child reaches each one.

Children need to discover the world and explore their place in it
Play is the primary activity of childhood. It is how children make sense out of experience. We provide children with the time and space to play creatively. By providing children with the tools and props of creative play, we provide then with the chance to tame the fearsome, transform the self, and test the infinite variety of possibilities that await them as they grow.
